The Australian National University

The University’s 93,000 alumni have for the first time been granted access to some of the world-class scholarly resources and online library services to support their research interest and careers.

The ANU Library has made more than 15 major international collections of scholarly books and journals, more than 650 ANU Press titles, and more than 9,000 journal articles, conference papers and other ANU research outputs available to alumni free of charge. These resources can be accessed from anywhere at any time.

ANU Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Young said the gesture was about ensuring ANU continued a strong connection with its Alumni community.

University Librarian Roxanne Missingham said creating a connection to the ANU Alumni network was important to the ANU Library.

“We are delighted to provide access to many high-quality scholarly resources and we hope it will support Alumni in their research and contribution to public debate through enabling them to keep up to date with scholarship in many disciplines,” she said.

More information about the ANU Alumni access can be found on the ANU Library website.
